NILES EAST REUNION '64 @ 65
We hope you were able to join us in celebrating our Class members' 65th birthday. The reunion began on Friday, August 5, with a cocktail party. We had a dinner dance on Saturday the 6th. The formal events ended with a Sunday brunch. All events took place at
the Marriott Lincolnshire.

Were you born 65 years ago today? On December 15, 1946, the Chicago Bears scored 10 points in the final quarter to beat the New York Giants 24-14 to win the NFL championship. Prior to the game it was announced that Giants quarterback Frank Filchock and running back Merle Hapes had been offered bribes. They refused the bribes, but did not report them. Filchock was allowed to play but Hapes was suspended. Later both were banished from the NFL.

A GREAT TIME AND GREAT MEMORIES
Friday and Saturday each brought large groups of classmates/old friends. We learned that Sydney Wishart, Queensland, Australia is 35+/- miles farther from Lincolnshire as is Bangkok, Thailand, as Barry Rosnick edged Jay Adair for the classmate who traveled the farthest to enjoy the reunion. We were also reminded that culottes almost caused a revolt.
Photos were taken Saturday night by the official photographer, Steve Weiss. He took photos of all classmates at the reunion, as well as group photos of each junior high school class. CLASS DVD FOR SALE
Rick Streicher put together a wonderful DVD capturing Yearbook photos of everyone at the reunion, and added current photos and photos from the last reunion. It is available to you for $5, to cover the cost of production. How do you order one? Good question. We'll have that information soon.
